Common questions from renters

Do I book or pay for the property through Ethiolet?

No. Ethiolet helps you find listings and contact owners or agents, but we do not handle payments or contracts. All agreements and payments remain directly between you and the landlord/agent.

How do I contact a landlord or agent?

Use the inquiry form on the listing page. Your name, contact details and message will be sent to the owner or agent, who can then reply and arrange a viewing or call. Avoid sending sensitive information over channels you do not trust.

What do the GOLD / SILVER / PENDING badges mean?

These are trust signals, not guarantees. They show how far our checks have gone on a listing. You can read more details on the Trust & Safety page, and you should always do your own checks before paying anything.

Common questions from landlords

Is it free to list my property on Ethiolet?

At this stage, yes. You can create a listing and start receiving inquiries for free. If pricing changes in the future, we will communicate it clearly before you are charged for anything.

Do you manage the property or collect rent for me?

No. Ethiolet is not a property management company at the moment. We help you get visibility and receive structured inquiries, but you remain the landlord and manage contracts, payments and ongoing communication.

How do I edit or remove my listing?

Sign in to your Ethiolet account, go to your landlord dashboard, and open the listing you want to change. From there, you can edit details, update photos, or unpublish the listing when it's no longer available.

Account & technical issues

I'm not receiving emails from Ethiolet

First, check your spam or junk folder for messages from Ethiolet. If you still do not see anything, make sure you typed your email address correctly, then try again. If the problem continues, contact us using the details below.

The site looks broken or a page is not loading

Try refreshing the page or opening Ethiolet in a different browser. If the problem remains, please take a screenshot if you can and email it to us so we can investigate.
